This Live Cut EP is Oak Bay's first recording. Originally, Oak Bay was a folk music duo Joseph Goldsmith and Neil Abercrombie of the Nordic reenactment group Eikarvik. In old Norse, Eik means oak and Vik means bay. The shores of Long Bay South Carolina have many oak trees so naturally the name Oak Bay had to come for the duo. This EP is a live cut of Joseph on guitar and percussion and Neil on autoharp playing through many Irish, Celtic, and other tunes with their own spin.
